The Psychology of Heart Break

June 6, 2017

"When your heart is broken, you plant seeds in the cracks and you pray for rain." ⠀

The rest of the quote reads: ⠀

"And you teach your sons and daughters there are sharks in the water. But the only way to survive is to breathe deep and dive."⠀

There's so much more hope when the full quote is read, "planting seeds" and "diving in" come from a place of action, strength and power. We have choices, no matter what the circumstances. ⠀

If those two options are too big, and overwhelming, there's one simple action we can always take: "breathe deep".
